My career is cardio. It's not a major workout where I'm in a full-on-sweat session but, it's cardio.
I'm on my feet all day, running around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to get orders out and desserts made. So, when I get home the thought of working out is vile. V.I.L.E. Of course, once I do it I feel great and it's exactly what I need after a long day. I have tried to start laying out my workout clothes on my bed so when I get home, instead of trying to crawl into bed for that delightful nap, I put my clothes on. And once you put the clothes on you're bound to do some kind of workout.
I love to run. But sometimes running becomes so routine and so dull that you just need a change up. That's what I have been trying to do these days- change up all my cardio. Mondays are for Zumba (more on that later), my mom and I try to walk together whenever we can, when I'm off on mornings I love group cardio classes, and I try to run at least 3 days a week. I really want to try an Orange Theory class soon too!
This time it was all about basketball. Ha! I know what you're thinking! But my stepdad is Michael Brooks....
Let me tell you he kicked my ass, of course, but it was a nice change up!

Nevertheless, we ALWAYS end a day with dessert in my fam. And this day was no different. Jeremiah's was a nice cool off treat. If you have never been to a Jeremiah's before you are missing OUT! It's some of the best Italian ice I have ever had. (Stay tuned for my Jeremiah's review post)
And now I'm relaxing on the couch as my lazy pup sleeps next to me ready for a new day at work tomorrow.... 4am comes quick!
